Yes – probably! We’ve got rooms available in Sønderborg, Tønder, and Haderslev.
If you’re enrolled in an EUD or EUX programme and it takes more than 75 minutes by public transport to reach your school, you have the right to a hostel room during school periods (not during apprenticeships). Prices are for 2026:
- Under 18? You stay for free.
- Turn 18 while staying? You’ll start paying from the following quarter.
- With a training agreement? You stay for free and only pay for the weekend 235,- /weekend.
- Over 18 and no training agreement? The price is DKK 641,-/week and 235,-/weekend.
- In school-based training (SOP)? You stay for free – until you turn 18. After that you pay DKK 641,-/ week and DKK 235,-/weekend.
- Recieving SU? The price is DKK 641,-/week and DKK 235,-/weekend. SU is student payment from the state - only eligible for EU /EØS students and with an approved application from the SU office.
- Paying tuition fees for your full EUD education? The price is DKK 5.600,- /month. You only pay for 10 months total for a school year as the college hostel is closed during christmas and summer holiday.
If you don’t meet the requirements, you can still apply – we’ll assess your situation individually.
When applying for your International EUD or International Baccalaureate, you will be asked to complete a form where you can indicate that you wish to apply for accommodation at the college hostel.
