Your home away from home

Yes – probably! We’ve got rooms available in Sønderborg, Tønder, and Haderslev.

If you’re enrolled in an EUD or EUX programme and it takes more than 75 minutes by public transport to reach your school, you have the right to a hostel room during school periods (not during apprenticeships).

• Under 18? You stay for free.
• Turn 18 while staying? You’ll start paying from the following quarter.
• Over 18 and no training agreement? The price is DKK 612/week (2024).
• In school-based training (SOP)? You stay for free – until you turn 18.

If you don’t meet the requirements, you can still apply – we’ll assess your situation individually.

• All hostels are smoke-, alcohol-, and drug-free zones.
• You’re not allowed to register your home address at the hostel.
• Have a child? You might be exempt from payment (if you can show documentation).

You help shape daily life at the hostel.

Many of the activities are started and run by the students themselves – so the more you join in, the more fun you’ll have.

Having a tough time at home or with school? We’ve got something called “Start Fresh” – a special option to help you get back on track, meet new people, and settle into a new environment.
