The current Danish educational policy is set by consensus agreement between political parties and partners from industry.
Reform of the contents and structure of individual programmes takes place at the request of, or in cooperation with, special committees and boards with equal representation of the labour market’s organisations. The idea is to minimise the distance between the registration of new competence needs and the introduction of new educational qualifications.
Representatives from the labour market are involved in the educational activities of vocational colleges at all levels.
Local companies are directly involved in EUC Syd’s activities in different ways, such as training placements, project co-operation and guests lectures. Labour market representatives carry out advisory, supervisory and decision-making functions at all levels in cooperation with educational authorities and institutions.
Some of our most important external examiners are experts from Danish and international corporations.
